چکیده

In this study, we investigated the effects of short-chain, middle-chain, and long-ehain fatty acids on the activity of rat liver ct-amino-fi-carboxymuconate-E-semialdehyde decarboxylase [EC 4.1.1.45] (ACMSD), a key enzyme of tryptophan-niacin metabolism. Moreover, we examined the cholesterol metabolism and lipid peroxidation in re)ation to ACMSD actiyity in rats. When diets containing 2%, S%, and 10% levels of fatty acids were giyen to rats for a week, saturated fatty aeids and e}aidic acid (trans form) did not suppress the ACMSD activity in liyer. But polyunsatllrated fatty acids such as linoleic acid, linolenic acid,

Effects of different dietary levels of AFB1 on survival rate and growth factors of Beluga (Huso huso)

In the present study, the impacts of various concentrations of Aflatoxin B1 (AFB1) on Beluga, Huso huso, under controlled conditions were investigated. Belugas (120±10g) were fed on diets containing 0, 25, 50, 75, and 100 ppb AFB1/kg of diet for 3 months. Results showed various levels of AFB1 do not significantly affect the specific growth ratio (SGR) (P < 0.05) of fish in different treatments...
